Syzygy

Syzygy is a passion project of mine. In the world of Parrel, Nina ventures out to collect magically-radiated objects in the Estuary: the borderlands between her kingdom and the Other Plane. Here she meets Machi, an exiled royal wizard from a secret kingdom hiding within. Together they explore and investigate the strange magic that is slowly spreading through Nina's home.

With the intention of adapting it into a comic, I spent about a year workshopping characters, environments, and storylines for this narrative.
